Sam – Team 18 – South Coast Botanical Garden Palos Verdes, CA

We had so much fun for Sam’s Senior Session! We decided to go to the gorgeous South Coast Botanical Garden in Palos Verdes, CA and boy were we not disappointed!! It was flower heaven, a photographers dream, with different themed sections of plant gorgeousness! I felt like a giddy little girl! Check out the beauty for yourself!

What is your favorite color? Sage

Favorite food(s)? I love all Mexican food, especially guacamole
Whats your most valued possession, and why?
My car Cleo. I can always take it to get food
If you had the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world where would it be? Why?
I would travel to Italy, specifically Rome and Vatican City. I would also like to travel to Spain, for the food of course!
Where do you work, how long have you worked there?
I am a lifeguard at Oasis pool. This past summer was the first that I worked as a lifeguard.
What extra-curricular activities have you been involved with?
I am on the swim team and am involved in the ASB leadership program for Quartz Hill High School, which takes up the majority of my free time. I am also involved in Girl Scouts, and love to volunteer. At school, I am in Blue Crew, CSF, NHS, Science Club, Bollywood Dance, and Mathletes.
Describe your family or a favorite childhood memory
When I was young, I had 4 consecutive Strawberry Shortcake themed Birthday Parties. My first bike was also Strawberry Shortcake.
When I was young, I wanted to be this when I grew up… A Veterinarian.
Now, I want to be… An Engineer.
What are my future goals, college I will attend, or careers I want to go after
I want to go to a polytechnic or STEM based university and get a degree in Biomedical engineering. I want to work for a company that works to genetically modify cells to prevent sickness or disease. I am also interested in genetic modification to prevent disease.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years, I see myself starting family and hopefully, having engineered something really cool, I can retire!
